In my discussions with some of my colleagues/associates in recent times, I deduced that many have relegated the place of prayer to the background. In private life, family, church settings etc; by those who should champion its cause.

For a Christian to be successful in all facets and to have eternal life, prayer is compulsory. Luke 18:1, “And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”. 1 Thessalonians 5:17,” Pray without ceasing.”

Wisdom, knowledge and human ability has its place but not equal or above prayer. For every issue arise from the spirit or what some refers to as sub consciousness which cannot be control by the physical ability or wisdom.

Many watered down prayer for personal desire, influence of associates, social media, challenges and confusion, etc.

Personal desire stimulate action, but for a “call out” desire must conform with what God want for you at a particular time, otherwise you may be operating before  your time. Catastrophic; of course, Isa. 43: 1-5 explain your security if your plans is left for God’s will. He will be with you.                                                                            All Christians believe tomorrow is good, but nobody knows what to happen in the next five minutes. These indicates we all depend on “all knowing” God.  Why enforcing our desire on Him?  Consider Phil. 4:13.  If you can do all things by Him, then you must trust His ability.

Friends and associates may influence things but notice that you will be the one to keep the pace. If you fail, it’s back to square one. Your peace is then compromised and chasing the shadows continues until death.  Psa.73:3, 17, “3 for I was envious of the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked, 17 until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end”.

Social Media has a lot of good information and diverse experience, but it is also the greatest habitat of deceit. People call themselves what they are not and manipulate the willing hearth to be misled.  Truth will always set you free.

Challenges and difficulties are bond to come because they’re part of life and these are what build your faith. Only the dead don’t have a known challenge to the living, because the soul is just waiting for the judgment day. Jesus Christ our Lord came through difficulty and lives through until ascension.

The truth however is, God will always be with you, if your steps are ordered by Him.  Isa.42:16, if he did not forsake the blind, who then will He despise. Do you realize how many things you’re blind at; especially knowing tomorrow?

A thorough study of Pas.23 will allow you to know what God did for David and how it can also be a way out for you.

Psa.50:15 “and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shall glorify me” shows God is willing to do much more than you could ever think.

Have you ever pray in the spirit over your situations? If your payer point aligns with the plan of God, then you will have an express result. Matthew 13:11” He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given”. 1Cor.14:2 also give an insight. Try it.

Form the habit of praying regularly today and see how He makes your paths straight.

Just thinking that with God, you can be better. Cheers.
